Crush Guard - Installation - Genie ALC500 Control Module Installation
This Tech Doc shows how the Control Module is Installed on the ALC500 Boom Lift
Installation Steps:
1. Attach the control module to the
man platform using the two
supplied U-bolts
2. Tension the nuts evenly to 12Nm.
3. Mount the module with the siren light facing
towards the ground.
4. Secure the M12 5-Way and 8-Way
screw lock connectors from the
Crush Guard frame, into the
control module.
5. Make sure that
the screw lock connectors are
tightened finger tight into their
corresponding sockets.
6. Hold the M23 connector from the
control module next to the cable
entry gland, running the yellow
cable into the man platform
control box
7. Run the unused
cable down the centre of the man
platform slew point (as show in
the image below).
8. Using two cable ties, secure the
control module cable to the other
cables, which enter the operator
control box (as shown in the
image below).
