Crush Guard - Installation - Genie ALC500/ALC1000 System Voltage Configuration
The Crush Guard is factory configured to operate on 12V DC as this is a typical voltage
for all diesel booms
If installing on a DV electric boom the typical voltage is 24V DC.
Configuration Steps:
1. To set the Crush Guard to 12VDC operation, remove the lid of the control module and
locate the two voltage setting jumpers on the circuit board, these jumpers are located
next to the 1A fuse.
2. Match the two jumper settings to the 12V markings on the board.
3. To set the Crush Guard to 24VDC operation, remove the lid of the control module and
locate the two voltage setting jumpers on the circuit board, these jumpers are located
next to the 1A fuse.
4. Match the two jumper settings to the 24V markings on the board.
The Crush Guard can be configured to operate on 12VDC or
24VDC. The installer is required to confirm the machines
operating voltage prior to system power up. If the machines
voltage is not 12VDC or 24VDC please contact EQSS for
technical assistance prior to power up
