Crush Guard - Installation - Genie ALC500/ALC1000 Troubleshooting

Notes
This Tech Doc describes how to identify and solve common problems that may occur while operating the EWP with the Crush Guard
Common Issues that need Troubleshooting:
Problem:
The Crush Guard is alarming after leaning on the wire rope
Solution:
The Crush Guard alarm has been triggered and needs to be reset. Reattach the magnetic anchor on the bottom left of the Crush Guard frame and press the reset button located on the bottom right of the Crush Guard frame.

Problem:
The magnet won't stay attached to the anchor
Solution:
The magnet and anchor surface may require cleaning, see Maintenance for instructions on cleaning the magnet.

Problem:
The Crush Guard is in alarm and the magnet is attached, but the reset button can't be pressed
Solution:
The wire rope may need to be lubricated or the tension may need to be adjusted, see Maintenance for further instructions.

Problem:
The Crush Guard is in alarm and the red Alert light is flashing near the override button
Solution:
Damage has occurred to one or more of the components of the Crush Guard. See Fault Codes (for further information or contact an EQSS representative to repair the system).

Problem:
The engine can't be started and the green Power light near the override button is not illuminated
Solution:
The fuse inside the control module may need to be replaced. See Replace Fuse.
