Crush Guard - Installation - Haulotte Star10 Machine Connections

This Tech Doc shows how the Machine Connections are completed
Installation Steps:
1. Remove the 4 bolts that secure the lid to the operator control box.
2. Drill a 20 mm hole in the location marked earlier for the M23 connector.


3. Insert the supplied cable wire harness up through the exposed hole, making sure that the M23 connector remains on the outside of the operator control box.
4. Using a 24mm open ended spanner, secure the M23 connector to the control panel using the supplied metal lock nut.
5. Make sure that the nut is done up tight to avoid the connector rotating.


6. On the emergency stop switch locate the wire 37A.
7. Remove the wire 37A from the emergency stop terminal and replace with the fork terminal on the pink / blue wire from the Crush Guard wire harness.
8. Cut off the fork terminal from the wire 37A that was removed from the emergency stop switch and crimp join the white wire from the Crush Guard wire harness. See Note 1.


9. Locate the wire 100 coming from the Operator control box connector.
10. Cut the wire and crimp join the wire (100) with the crush guard harness black wire. See Note 1.


 11. Secure the Crush Guard wire harness to the existing wires using cable ties.
