This Tech Doc shows the Installation Overview on the JLG X19J Boom Lift
The purpose of the Model6252 Crush Guard is to prevent the operator from being crushed
against the man platform controls, resulting in involuntary operation of the machine.
The
system consists of the following functional components:
Crush
Guard
Frame
The Crush Guard frame is
mounted to the man platform
in front of the operator
controls.
Crush
Guard
Control
Module
The Crush Guard control
module is mounted at the rear
of the operator controls. This
module integrates with the
man platform electronics
Wire
Harness
The wire harness provides
electrical connectors between
the control module and the
man platform electronics.
