Crush Guard - Service - Genie ALC500/ALC1000 Machine Interface
The purpose of this Tech Doc is to help with servicing the Machine Interface
The machine interface is a M23 connector harness integrated into the EWP electronics (inside the control box).
Damage to Machine Interface Wiring
If the machine interface wiring for the Crush Guard has been damaged due to a
breach of the EWP control box, then the machine interface wiring may need to be
replaced.
Order the machine interface wiring that suits the ALC500/ALC1000 control box. Then follow
the instructions in the Crush Guard installation manual for the ALC500/ALC1000 to
install the machine interface wiring.
If an individual wire has corroded or is damaged, it might be possible to just replace
the section of wire.
If a single wire is being replaced, use wire that is equivalent to AWG16 gauge.
