A true N07 error occurs when extending or retracting the telescopic boom after the wire connected to the cable reeler has snapped or has been severed. The Gen3-LMS detects the broken cable reeler wire when the boom is extended off the stow switch but there is no detected change in boom length.
A false N07 error occurs if the boom is extended just off the stow switch but does not continue to extend. Some telescopic booms will slightly extend when certain actions are performed such as lifting a load when the boom is at a negative angle or sometimes just by pressurising the hydraulic system. If this slight extension pushes the boom off the stow switch then a false N07 error will occur.
The solution to fix a false N07 error is to adjust the stow switch arm on the cable reeler further forward towards the stow switch trigger bracket, so that when the boom slightly extends it does not jump off the
stow switch.

Correct Installation Wrong Installation This will ensure that if the boom slightly extends, if doesn't extend off the stow switch and cause a false N07 error.
Please note the orientation of the stow switch arm or the type of trigger bracket shown in the pictures above may be differ depending on the machine model
