Gen3 - Attachments - Attachment Automatic Recognition Installation
When installed, the system will read the identification tag on the attachment and automatically change the system to match that attachment.
Telehandlers that have attachment automatic recognition capabilities, do not use a standard Gen 3 cable reeler. The standard cable reeler simply uses a retractable steel cable and has no means of connecting to an RFID reader. The specialised cable reeler that is used for this purpose, uses spool-able cable with internal conductors that allow the RFID reader to be connected to the Gen 3 system.
