Gen3 - General - Gen 3 Kits are Sold Machine Specific

Notes
EQSS Gen 3 kits are Engineered, built, configured and sold as machine serial number specific orders
The purpose for this Tech Doc is to briefly describe the Engineering Process that is implemented at EQSS for kits that will be fitted to recently released new models of telehandlers. When a new model telehandler is released for sale, we never assume that any of our old Gen 3 install kits will fit. Telehandler manufacturers regularly make design changes to various parts of their machines.

Therefore, our EQSS Engineering process is implemented where we:
  1. Request access to a representative new model telehandler
  2. Look, measure and evaluate similarities and differences between our previous kits and what is required for the new machine
  3. Fabricate metal work, harnesses and any other required items (generate a kit BOM and machine specific kit part numbers)
  4. Document all fabricated items
  5. Fit the new kit to the (on loan) representative telehandler
  6. Perform a full EQSS Gen 3 calibration
  7. Thoroughly test the new kit on the representative telehandler and confirm correct functionality
  8. Create all relevant documentation for the installation and operation of the Gen 3 kit - on the new machine model
  9. All documentation is checked and signed off
  10. Documents are released and the new kit is put into production
  11. Customer orders a kit and provides a machine serial number, EQSS builds a kit for that specific machine serial number
  12. Kit gets shipped to the customer, ready for install
EQSS is a company dedicated to designing and manufacturing safety systems for a range of machines. We take safety seriously and as such, will not short circuit our own efforts by aiding other businesses and operators that want to create their own ad hoc EQSS installations. Operators that want to knock together a kit made up of a bits and pieces from other EQSS kits will not get any cooperation from EQSS support.
Warning
End users that request parts and help in creating their own haphazard installation kit shall be outright REJECTED
