Gen3 - Installation - Installation Outline

The diagram below outlines how the system components are connected for the Gen3 LMS.

It is recommended to install the components in the following order:

1. The external sensor components,

1. Pressure sensor adapters and pressure sensors (making sure that these are mounted exactly as shown in the installation manual - clearance purposes)
   
2. Pressure sensor cables
   
3. CPIM Module
4. Cable reeler and cable anchor
   
5. Light Tower
6. Cameras
   
7. External cable routes (cable tied)
   
8. Machine cutout T-connectors at the hydraulic solenoids
   

2. Then the components inside the cabin 

1. CPIM module
   
2. EQSS wiring harnesses
   
3. Mount Gen 3 Display and route the CCIM to Display cable
   
4. Mount 5 button navigation switch and Gen 3 Override  switch

3. Finally the electrical connections. 

1. Connect all EQSS Gen 3 cable harnesses to correct connection points (machine input and cutout harnesses)
   
2. Connect any in vehicle dash electrical connections (joystick, keyswitch, radio power harness, accessories etc.)
   
3. Install and connect the backup battery
   

This is the installation sequence that EQSS installers follow.
