Pressure Sensors MUST be mounted exactly as the Installation Manual shows in illustrations
The various pressure sensors that the EQSS relies on to monitor shifting hydraulic pressures are mounted to the key telehandler (on boom) hydraulic blocks. Unfortunately, some telehandlers don't have much clearance around the moving/working boom. This makes hydraulic sensor mounting orientation in some circumstances critical. Under those conditions, the sensors must be mounted exactly as shown in the installation manual photos. Failure to do so can result in damaged or even broken sensors. EQSS installers are aware of the tight mounting tolerances and have installed many kits with zero problems. However, third party installers do occasionally have problems.

Room for EQSS Simplification and Improvement
Where EQSS sees an opportunity to simplify and improve a customer's experience with a kit, we do implement changes.
The critical sensor mounting example (as shown at the top) in the first photo of this Tech Doc was made less critical by including a hose extension and then moving the position where the hydraulic sensor will be mounted - somewhere out of harms way.

This type of change increases the component count and installation complexity slightly, but reduces the risk of accidental damage.
