Gen3_ITC - User - Understanding the Screen Layout

The user display consists of a 7 inch wide screen high definition,  Sunlight readable, TFT display. All principle ITC operating data is displayed on the EQSS Gen 3 main screen.
The user display provides the following real time information:
  1. Boom angle in degrees (0.1 resolution)
  2. Working radius with attachment offsets incorporated (0.1m resolution)
  3. Working height with attachment offsets incorporated (0.1m resolution)
  4. Current attachment selection - name and attachment model number
  5. North South Chassis angle with widget graphic (0.1 resolution)
  6. East West Chassis angle with widget graphic (0.1 resolution)
  7. Articulation angle with widget graphic (0.1 resolution)
  8. Current load (100Kg resolution)
  9. Longitudinal Moment Indicator (1% resolution)
  10. Cross Slope Stability Indicator (1% resolution)
  11. Maximum rated capacity for current attachment (1% resolution)
  12. Modern display interface with advanced graphics
  13. Camera for reverse, Basket Camera 1, Basket Camera 2
Screen Layout and function display specifics:

User display functions described below:
  1. Longitudinal Bar – Displays the angle of the machine's forward tilt in reference to the maximum allowed. This is shown as a percentage and will set off the alarm when 100% has been reached.
  2. Cross Slope Bar – Displays the angle of the machine's slope in reference to the maximum allowed. This is shown as a percentage and will set off the alarm when 100% has been reached.
  3. Load Bar – A visual representation of how much load is active under the selected tool's rated capacity. The alarm will sound when the bar's reach red, which interprets to 100% rated capacity of the selected tool. The bars are color coded depending on their load percentage, with green between 0% - 79%, yellow between 80% - 99% and red 100%+.
  4. LMI Percentage Graph – A visual representation of the longitudinal moment. The alarm will be triggered when the bars reach the red region, which interprets to the maximum safe angle has been reached. The bars are color coded depending on their load percentage, with green between 0% - 79%, yellow between 80% - 99% and red 100%+.
  5. Pitch Tilt Angle – Shows the pitch angle of the ITC in relation to the calibrated zero level of a level surface.
  6. Roll Tilt Angle – Shows the roll angle of the ITC in relation to the calibrated zero level of a level surface.
  7. Articulation Angle – Shows the angle of twist of the front section of the machine relative to the cabin.
  8. Attachment – This displays the description of the currently selected attachment. To change the attachment see Attachment Menu.
  9. Notification Icons – This area displays the important notification icons. For more details on the types of icons displayed see Status Icons.
  10. Load – This displays the currently lifted load in tonnes and has a 100 Kg resolution
  11. Radius – This displays the current radius of the attachment in metres measured from the attachment load centre to the front of the tyre
  12. Height – This displays the current height of the attachment from the ground to the bottom of the attachment
  13. Safe Working Load – This displays the maximum rated load for the selected attachment
  14. Boom Angle – This displays the current boom angle in degrees
The height measurement is taken from the ground to the bottom of the attachment. It is not the total height of the ITC and should not be used as a maximum height limit. If a suspended load is attached it does not measure the height of the load from the ground.

As an added safety feature the Gen-3 safety system will automatically derate the maximum rating further than is specified on the rating chart when the attachment load center is within the negative working radius region (when the load is above the front wheels and the cabin). This should have a minimal impact on the performance of the machine since the load center rarely passes within the negative working radius region during lifting operations.
