MCL - User - Pre Operation Inspection
Perform the following inspection of the MCL load sensor before lifting a load with the jib.
Inspect the MCL load sensor spring section shown in red for any signs of cracks or any
other damage. Pay particular attention to the area where the springs bolt onto the top and
bottom attachments, as indicated by the red arrows.
Cracks or damage in the load sensor springs can cause the
load sensor to break when lifting a heavy load. This can cause
the load to drop and may kill or seriously injure personnel
under the load.
