Gen3 - Selections - Apply 3T Derating To All Attachments (Current Software)
Swapping SD cards to switch between normal and 3T limiting mode is not approved by EQSS. The only approved method to change between 3T limiting mode is to modify the configuration value either via the display, configuration software or manual edit. The display modification method shown below was added in display version 1129. To update the software to the latest version see Update Telehandler Display Software for Gen3-LMS.
The following instructions will derate all attachments on the Gen3-LMS to 3T to allow the machine to be used by an operator who only has a 3T and under license.
- Press Enter on the user control dial to enter the menu system.
Press the arrow buttons to select System Menu.
Press Enter to select the menu. - Select Advanced Menu
- Enter the password
(Default Password: 2-8-4) - Select Change Settings
- Select Enable 3T Derating and use the arrow buttons to toggle between Off and On.
Press the Enter button again to confirm the selection. - Restart the machine to load the new setting changes on the Gen3-LMS
- If 3T derating is enabled the 3T icon below is shown in the top right corner of the display
