Crush Guard - Installation - Genie ALC500/ALC1000 Generic Wiring Connections
The Crush Guard is designed to be fitted to any mast machine, shown below are generic kit machine connection / wire color descriptions.
- Pink wire. System power should be installed on the output of the E-Stop.
- Black wire. System ground should be installed on the main ground node inside the
basket control box.
- Blue wire & White wire. This is the full cut-out relay output from the control module. This should be installed if a full E-Stop machine cut-out is required.
- Splice the Blue
and White wires inline with the basket control box power, exiting from the E-Stop
switch.
- Brown and Green wires. This is the dead man foot switch cut-out relay output from
the control module.
- Splice the Brown and Green wires into the common wire of the
dead man foot switch.
The Crush Guard is factory configured for 12V operation. If the Crush Guard® is installed on a 24V DC machine, please refer to System Voltage Configuration Tech Doc to configure the control module for 24V operation.
