This fault code can appear when there is a problem with the Compensation Head Pressure Sensor or the sensor cable.
There are 3 likely reasons that this fault may appear:
1. Cable problem
2. Sensor problem
3. Connector loose inside the CPIM
1. Cable Problem - Investigations
* Check for cuts or breaks in the cable
* Check for damage inside each 4 pin screw connector
* With a continuity tester, check continuity of each cable run between the cable connectors
* Check that the screw connectors are screwed in tight at both the CPIM connector and the Sensor connector
2. Sensor Problem - Investigations
* If a spare sensor is available then try replacing the Compensation Head Pressure Sensor
* If a spare sensor isn't available then try swapping with a different sensor in the system and see if the fault follows the sensor
3. Connector loose inside the CPIM - Investigations
We don't encourage customers to open the CPIM as that action may compromise the water seal integrity of that unit.
* However, as a last resort, unscrew the 4 screws of the CPIM and re-seat the sensor connectors on the PCB.
