Gen3 - Hardware - Troubleshooting Pressure Switch/CAN Bus Cables and Connectors

Notes
The EQSS Pressure Switch cable has 4 conductor cores and is the same cable that's also used for the EQSS CAN connections
The EQSS name and part number for this cable are: GEN-3 Pressure Sensor/CCIM->CPIM Cable (PN: CB001026)
The cable is molded and is not user repairable, therefore, providing internal wire colors is not helpful.

CPIM Internal Connectors and wire colors
Under certain circumstances it might be useful to know wire colors internal to the CPIM unit (for example when conducting a cable/connector continuity check)
Note: If opening a CPIM module, special care must be taken to properly re-align gaskets for water proofing when reassembling.

For the pressure sensor cables, the CPIM has four 4-Pin female turck connectors (CN001203).
Internal to the CPIM, these Turck connectors have four connected wires, that are then crimped into 4-Pin TE connectors (CN001263)

When the CB001026 cable is used as a hydraulic sensor cable
Wire colors, their uses and crimp information below:
Female Turck Pin 1 Brown = Vcc                                              Crimp to TE Pin 4
Female Turck Pin 2 White = Analog Ch B (4mA ... 20mA)     Crimp to TE Pin 3
Female Turck Pin 3 Blue   = Gnd                                              Crimp to TE Pin 2
Female Turck Pin 4 Black = Analog Ch A (4mA ... 20mA)      Crimp to TE Pin 1

When the CB001026 cable is used as a CAN Bus cable
Wire colors, their uses and crimp information below:
Male Turck Pin 1 Brown =  Vcc            Crimp to TE Pin 4
Male Turck Pin 2 White =  CAN Hi     Crimp to TE Pin 2
Male Turck Pin 3 Blue =     CAN Lo     Crimp to TE Pin 1
Male Turck Pin 4 Black =    Gnd           Crimp to TE Pin 3

Warning
If opening a CPIM module, special care must be taken to properly re-align gaskets for water proofing when reassembling.
