OverWatch - Installation - Active Signal Decoder Wiring Diagram

Some JLG models have been updated to use an active signal decoder in the loom for sensing the drive and elevate functions

On page 22 of the Installation Manuals for each of these listed above models is a Harness Drawing. The harness drawing contains both the main harness but also contains the decoder board and its harness wiring. This Tech Doc was created to further magnify and describe the decoder board.
So what is the decoder board and what is its function?
Most machine control boxes produce steady state signals and DC voltages that the Overwatch monitors. These particular JLG machines generate logic pulses. The decoder board then interprets these logic pulses and converts them to steady state signals that the rest of the Overwatch then uses to function. When troubleshooting the 'Drive' and 'Elevate' functionality please be aware of the above explanation. As illustrated in the install manual of each of these machines, the decoder board 'Drive' and 'Elevate' wires must be soldered to the exact control board solder points - as in the install manual photos.
