Gen1 - Installation Deici Icarus 40.17 Gen 1 to Gen 3 - CCIM Module

Gen1 - Installation Deici Icarus 40.17 Gen 1 to Gen 3 - CCIM Module

Notes
The CCIM connects the system into the machine electronics and interfaces between the display and the external sensors
The CCIM along with the backup battery should be mounted inside the dashboard near the rest of the machine electronics. The CCIM and backup battery are designed to be mounted using velcro tape, so it can be mounted to any flat surface. Ensure there is enough space to attach the connectors to the front of the CCIM before attaching the tape.

Once the CCIM is mounted, connect the 26-Pin bulkhead connector of the power/camera harness and the 34 pin bulkhead connector of the I/O harness to the CCIM. Connect the CCIM and signal light cables from the CPIM and signal light respectively, to either of the 4-Pin connectors on the CCIM. It doesn’t matter which connector is used for the CCIM or signal light as they are both CAN bus connectors.

Ensure the spade battery terminals on the power/camera harness are long enough to reach the backup battery (before securing with velcro tape). Do not connect the battery terminals now, the battery terminals will be connected towards the end of the installation. Connect the camera cables to the power/camera harness matching the forward and reverse camera labels.

Coil up any camera or CCIM cables and store them underneath the dashboard. The 8-Pin cable from the CCIM will be connected into the display at the completion of the installation.
Warning
Do not disconnect the camera power connectors while the system is running as this will blow the fuse
Warning
The CCIM enclosure is not weatherproof and can not be mounted outside the cabin
