Gen3 - Installation - Generic Display Installation

The display is the main indicator device for the Gen3 LMS system and should be mounted
in a location that is visible to the operator at all times (regardless of the steering wheel
and/or seat position).

Please refer to the specific EQSS Gen 3 installation manual (for your specific machine) for a more accurate and concise display installation procedure.
The display is supplied with a swivel bracket that allows the display angle to be adjusted.
The display bracket should be mounted towards the right side of the dashboard. It can also
be mounted to the left side of the dashboard - if right side mounting is not feasible.
The latest adjustable swivel bracket is made out of metal and is very robust. For further details about this metal bracket go to Display Brackets page.
Due to the slope of the dashboard it may not be possible to angle the display down so it
faces the operator. This should not present a problem since the display screen has a
viewing angle of 120 degrees. However, ensure there is no reflection on the glass screen
from the window in the roof.

Adjust the display bracket for optimal viewing angle once the display is powered
Connect the 5 pin cable from the user input control into the top connector on the display
and the connect the 8 pin cable from the CCIM into the bottom connector on the display.
Coil up any additional cable and store underneath the dashboard.

Do NOT drill into the cabin frame to mount the display bracket. The
cabin has been designed as a ROPS/FOPS structure and
drilling into the frame may weaken the structural integrity.
