ITC SWL- Hitachi & JCB - Cabin Electronics Installation

Notes
The cabin electronics interface into the load sensor and produce the required cutout.
Installation Steps:

Install the indicator and override switch into a two spare housing in the dashboard.

Below: Overload Indicator & Override Switch

  1. The switch housing cutout in the dashboard may need to filed larger to fit the overload indicator.
  2. Insert the ferrules on the wire harness into the cabin interface module connector block according to the table below.

Connect the relay board to the 6 pin connector on the wire harness.

Below: Relay Board

Then:
  1. Connect the boom cable to the 2 pin connector on the wire harness.
  2. Connect the indicator mounted in the dashboard to the wire harness light blub connector.
  3. Connect the override switch in the dashboard to the spade terminals on the wire harness.

Locate the radio power connector in the dashboard then splice the following wire colours from the harness with the 3 pin connector - to the radio power power connector.

Connect the 3 pin connector to the main wire harness.
The cutout is connected into the machine differently for each model

Remove the cover protecting the hydraulic spool valves behind the cabin.

Run the 2 pin tee connectors out of the hole in the cabin (the same hole used for the boom cable) and run along the side the cabin towards the hydraulic spool valves behind the cabin.

Connect into the 2 pin connector as shown below.
