Gen3_ITC - Installation - Caterpillar 962K External Cable Completion
The completion of the external cabling is outlined in this Tech Doc
Installation Steps:
1. Locate the CCIM cable then locate the cabin entrance grommet (found at the front end of the cabin).
Run the CCIM, cutout and camera
cable up through the hole into the
cabin under the foot pedals.
Note: Pull the entire length of cable
through into the cabin, excess cable
will be stored beneath the side
console.
2. Connect the CCIM cable to the side
of the CPIM (red circle in the photo below).
3. Machine Cutout
Locate the solenoid PWM9101 ‘Lift
arms up solenoid’ which is situated
underneath the machine close to the
centre of the two front tyres.
Note: The boom cannot be lifted
until the rest of the installation has
been completed.
4. Unplug the existing two-pin
connector and replace it with the
one end of the T-connector, with
the other end of the connector
connecting to the existing cable.
