Gen3_ITC - User - Understanding the UITC Screen Layout

Notes
The user display consists of a 7 inch wide screen high definition,  Sunlight readable, TFT display. All important (UITC Version) operating data is displayed on the EQSS Gen 3 main screen.
The user display provides the following real time information:

UITC Screen Layout and function display specifics:

User display functions described below:
  1. Cross Slope Bar – Displays the angle of the machine's slope in reference to the maximum allowed. This is shown as a percentage and will set off the alarm when 100% has been reached.
  2. Load Bar – A visual representation of how much load is active under the selected tool's rated capacity. The alarm will sound when the load bars reach the red zone, which interprets to 100% rated capacity of the selected tool. The bars are colour coded depending on their load percentage, with green between 0% - 79%, yellow between 80% - 99% and red 100%+.
  3. LMI Percentage Graph – A visual representation of the longitudinal moment. The alarm will be triggered when the bars reach the red region, which interprets to the maximum safe angle has been reached. The bars are colour coded depending on their load percentage, with green between 0% - 79%, yellow between 80% - 99% and red 100%+.
  4. Pitch Tilt Angle – Shows the pitch angle of the ITC in relation to the calibrated zero level of a level surface.
  5. Roll Tilt Angle – Shows the roll angle of the ITC in relation to the calibrated zero level of a level surface.
  6. Articulation Angle – Shows the angle of twist of the front section of the machine relative to the cabin.
  7. Attachment – This displays the description of the currently selected attachment or system status messages. To change the attachment see 'Attachment Menu'.
  8. Notification Icons – This area displays the important notification icons. For more details on the types of icons displayed see 'Status Icons'.
  9. Load – This displays the currently lifted load in tonnes and has a 100 Kg resolution
  10. Radius – This displays the current radius of the attachment in meters measured from the attachment load centre to the front of the tyre
  11. Height – This displays the current height of the attachment from the ground to the bottom of the attachment
  12. Rated Capacity – This displays the maximum rated load for the selected attachment
  13. Boom Angle – This displays the current boom angle in degrees
  14. Tool Angle – (Optional) This displays the current tool angle in degrees
  15. Tyre Pressure – (Optional) This displays the tyre pressure status for each tyre.
Each Tyre icon has 3 status levels:
Green – The tyre is at nominal pressure,
Yellow – The tyre pressure has exceeded the warning threshold and should be remedied when possible, but is safe to operate,
Red – The tyre pressure has exceeded the alarm threshold and should be remedied as soon as possible and is not safe to operate.
The top left icon is for the front left tyre. The top right icon is for the front right tyre. The bottom left icon is for the rear left tyre. The bottom right icon is for the rear right tyre. The tyre pressure value can be viewed in the 'Diagnostics Menu'.

Load Hold
Due to the hydraulic layout in some machines the pressure readings inside the lift cylinder can change depending on the boom operations. In this case the Gen3-LMS will only update the load value when the boom is lifting. When the boom stops or other boom movements are performed, the original load value will be held (there will be short delay and the load will not immediately change).

When the boom is lifting, the load value will be updated on the screen and the attachment description will change to indicate the boom value is being updated.

When the boom has stopped raising and is idle or if any other boom operations are been performed such as crowd/dump, then the load value will start to flash to indicate the previous load value is been held.
Info
Load holding is only used on certain models of machines. You can see if load holding is in use by the flashing load value, when the boom is idle.
Info
When lowering the boom and dropping the lifted load, the Gen3-LMS will still be holding the original load value. Slightly lift the boom to update the load value.
