When the man platform has been attached to the telehandler, the range of movement is
limited to 3 meters height and 5 meters radius while the stabilizers are up.
If these limits
are exceeded the cutout will engage.
The cutout generated for a man platform is not an aggravated movement cutout, but is
similar to a height limit cutout. The cutout prevents raising or extending the boom, but
the operator can still lower or retract the boom.

The man platform cutout can not be
overridden with the override key.
When the telehandler has been moved into position and the outriggers have been
lowered, the cutout will engage - preventing the man platform from being raised. Further
boom movements must be performed from the man platform controls.
When the key selector switch (P221) is set to man platform, the EQSS safety system
relies on the man platform's load cell to determine when it is overloaded. The display
will show the current load to an observer in the cabin and the light tower will operate as
normal. However, the alarm will not sound and the cutout will not engage. The Free
Operation Mode icon will be shown on the display.
