Gen3 - Attachments - Gen 3 LMS Compatible Attachments Lists

Notes
The Gen 3 system software already contains a large selection of instantly usable attachments for supported telehandlers
As can be appreciated, the marketplace has many machine attachment manufacturers. Each of these manufacturers has available a large selection of attachment models. Each of these models will have it's own specifications and specific geometry. With respect to the EQSS Gen 3 system, these are the factors that makes telehandler attachments NOT arbitrarily interchangeable.

So which attachments are instantly supported by the EQSS Gen 3 system?
That depends on the telehandler and the current EQSS database of load charts for any specific telehandler. We maintain customer accessible online spreadsheets of currently compatible attachments (for various telehandler makes and models). These attachment lists will tell you which attachments have digital load chart and attachment calibrations (immediately usable) within the Gen 3 system.

The following hyperlink will take you to the appropriate (as discussed above) web pages: Attachments . On that page, simply select the Brand of telehandler tab and then look for your telehandler model. Then look for possible attachments (on the spreadsheet) for your particular telehandler model.

Attachment information is represented as a name, as well as a manufacturer number. To do a cross check, you will need to look at the compliance plate on your attachment, as well as the compliance plate of your attachment carrier (if present). The EQSS Gen 3 system calculates loads by taking into account attachment combined weight as well as attachment center of gravity. If the brand and model number of the attachment is listed on the spreadsheet (and confirmed that it's calibrated), then the Gen 3 software has that attachment within it's database.

If the display currently doesn't have your attachment selectable (but the spreadsheet indicates that it is available) then:
1. If your configuration is up to date, you will simply need to enable it using the 'Gen-3 Configuration Tool'
2. If your configuration is not up to date, then you will need to update your configuration, also using the 'Gen-3 Configuration Tool'

This software is downloadable from the EQSS website as part of a suite of EQSS software.  Click the hyperlink: Update Existing Gen3-LMS for New Attachments  to read more about loading EQSS software onto your PC and then running the 'Gen-3 Configuration Tool' to enable your attachment.
The article EQSS Gen 3 Configuration Tool thoroughly explains the use of this software tool.

Attachment Not On The List
If your attachment is not on the EQSS published list of attachments for your machine, then you are trying to use an attachment that is not in the Gen 3 database. However, at a cost to you, it is possible for it to be added to the system. You will of course need to acquire a printed load chart for your attachment from the attachment manufacturer and then send this to EQSS for digitisation. A more thorough explanation is available by clicking the hyperlinks below to the EQSS Tech Docs.

Please read Tech Docs: Attachments Lists and Load Charts and What is a Load Calibration & how to do it for further information on digitising load charts and performing attachment load calibrations.

To digitise a load chart we need:
1. An attachment manufacturer load chart for your particular attachment (your attachment manufacturer can supply you with this document)
2. A photo of your attachment compliance plate
3. A photo of your attachment carrier compliance plate
4. Approximately two to three weeks for EQSS engineers to complete the process

Below: Example of a printed load chart

Below: Compliance plate examples

What you will need to do then:
1. Once the load chart has been released via a software update, you will need to update your display software configuration and enable your new attachment within the Gen 3 system.
2. Complete a 'load calibration' for your new attachment. Below link explains 'Load Calibration'

3. Send us your completed: Post Installation Checklist
