Gen3_ITC - Fault Code - IN13

Notes
The Relays in the CCIM are monitored for reliable activation
The CCIM provides the interface between the machine electrics and the EQSS technology and it also controls machine cutouts via internal relays. As the Gen 3 system is a safety system and the cutout relays are monitored to ensure reliable operability of cutouts.
When an IN13 fault code is displayed, the system has determined that the CCIM Output 2 Relays have developed a fault.
Possible reasons are:
  1. CCIM Output 2 Relay Fault or Conflict
  2. The Output 2 cutout relay in the CCIM has failed to energise.
As stated above, the EQSS CCIM switches cutouts with mechanical relays. As the EQSS system is a safety system, those relays are monitored by the electronics. During the operation of the ITC machine, the relays are monitored for integrity. If the electronics sense that these relays will fail to create an effective cutout at Output 2, they display an IN13  fault code.

There are no user serviceable parts inside the CCIM. Therefore, the CCIM must be repaired in order to continue to be an effective safety device.
