Gen3_ITC - Installation - Volvo L120H Articulation Sensor Installation
The articulation sensor is mounted mid machine at the point of machine articulation
Installation Steps:
1. Drill two M6 holes for the
Articulation base plate in the
location shown, using the plate as a
guide to mark the M6 hole locations.
Make sure the inner circle from the
‘Volvo Articulation Bracket Base
Plate’ matches up with pivot mount
on the machine.
2. Once the Core Bracket has been
mounted, align the sensor bracket
arm in such way that the core sits
over the designated location on the
sensor. The sensor has a small
circular groove where the core must
sit. The distance between the core
and the sensor must be no greater
than 5mm.
Once aligned, mark the mounting
location for the ‘Sensor Bracket
Arm’ and drill the two M6 holes in
the marked location.
3. Route the Sensor cable as shown in the diagram, use cable ties to attached the Sensor cable to the existing pipes and avoid contact with other moving objects.
